Do they make screen protectors that actually don't collect fingerprints these days?

First, I did search the forum using "fingerprint" and found one post that didn't answer this. So, it either surprisingly hasn't been discussed or I am about to be shown how bad I am at searching and get a link to a post.

I just got my S8+ ... my first "mainstream" phone in a long time. I am really liking it. When I went to sell my last phone, upon close examination, it had a bunch of tiny scratches. So ... I am going with a screen protector this time.

I haven't used a screen protector in a long time.

I bought illumishield. Highly reviewed. But... doesn't seem like anything has changed in screen protector technology. It collects grease and fingerprints so easily!

Is this just the norm (still)? I thought oleophobic coatings reduced this. Did I just buy the wrong one?

Thanks!

Did the manufacturer state it had an oleophobic coating on the screen protector? Bear in mind those coatings rub off in time and don't last forever. Fact is a screen protector is basically there to reduce the amount of damage to your screen, but there's nothing that would prevent it from accumulating fingerprints.

Try the liquid skin from Skinomi. I've been using that screen protector for a long time with all my phones and it's pretty good at not getting fingerprints. I have one on order for my S8 that is to arrive tomorrow. That is all I use. You'll like it. Fingerprints are hardly none.

Ugh. I didn't even think to look for "oleophobic coating" on the assumption that was a standard thing. It does not say that so I guess I got what I paid for. I'll say this, it was very easy to install and virtually invisible, except for the little speck of dust that I just noticed today.

FYI - this is what I bought:
AquaShield Galaxy S8 Plus Screen Protector (2-Pack, Case Friendly Updated Design), ILLUMI AquaShield

Don't really see any with that type of protection listed. There are plenty of tempered glass with it but I don't want to go that route with the curved edges.
