Do things get hot and heavy when your phones in your pants?

I'm running lollipop right now(full reset done), but even on 4.4, my phone would tend to over heat within 30 seconds of putting it in my sweat pants. I'm using an otterbox commuter case.

What about you guys?

Is that an S5 or are you just glad to see me?;)

Check your Settings>Battery menu--anything using an unusual percentage of battery?

It could also be your SD card, if there's a corrupt media file on it. Unmount the card (in Settings>Storage), remove it, and reboot. Insert the card into your computer and run chkdsk: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...guide-using-chkdsk-fix-corrupted-sd-card.html

Wink wink ;)

Nope my battery usage is fine. As far as the SD card goes, I actually just formatted it today cause I figured I may have an old app on there that I transferred over that was causing shenanigans. I cleared the cache partition so we will see what else it could be. Would there be any point to running chkdsk even after formatting the SD card?

Are there any files on it at all? I don't think it'll hurt to check. Maybe the card itself is damaged.

I'll check tonight when I get on my PC. There is nothing I voluntarily put on my card. There's some Google files that are on it in a data file. I literally just formatted it and somehow Google got into it haha. The card is brand new, about 4 months old. Samsung Evo 16gb.

I ran SD insight, it's the real deal. Ever since I did a format, the phone is actually not over heating I think.

My inner thigh gets sooooooo warm.. it's my S5... probably....... (;
