Do we have a collection of ringtones on the Android side like Crackberry folks do? They seem more business organized on that side. Maybe because the BB is so business oriented?

No... but there is NO reason why you can't download the ones from Crackberry if you like them.

There are a few ongoing threads here that have people requesting special ringtones. We don't need something that every Blackberry user uses.

FYI I tried DLing the MP3's from Crackberry.com --- yeah, that sucked!

It would be nice to have the ringtones that people make in 1 central location.. Serching through all the pages and threads to find a ringtone does suck.... Maybe i wont try to make a page to get them in one spot.

It would be nice to have a place for wallpapers too like the crackberry site does. I miss how they had all the wallpapers organized by type and like stated earlier. In one central location..

I'm agreeing to the requests to have a central location for all ringtones like crackberry. I have a droid razr...anyone know how to download a ringtone from crackberry and save it to my phone as a ringtone? I emailed it to the phone but don't know where to go from there...

Put the longer ringtone in this folder: sdcard/media/audio/ringtones

Put the shorter notification in this folder: sdcard/media/audio/notifications

If those folders are not already on your sdcard, then make one with an app like "Root Explorer" or "Astro File Manager" found in the Android Market.

I used to make ringtones on the crackberry site. I have been making them since 05. One day a crackberry admin made a nasty comment about I made a double post. I said well delete my ringtone thread and ban my user name. I do understand some people do not want to go through every post to find a ringtone. It would be nice to have a ringtone page.
