Do We Really Still Need Screen Protectors?

I don't have one on mine and honestly just think having one just takes away from how your fingers supposed to flow and Interact with the phone. In other words, it worsens the experience.

Who else going with no screen protector?

I will always be putting a screen protector on my phones regardless of how good the glass is supposed to be, because they all scratch. Until I get that sapphire screen anyway..

None for me. Just a really thin clear case.

I used tempered glass screen protectors on my phones that had flat screens. Once people figured out it was hard to find a good one for these types of screens, I just stopped worrying about it.

My S7E that I had while waiting for the Note 8 just had the thin clear case and no screen protector, and it's in perfect shape.

I don't like screen protectors and rarely have use them on certainly not using one now

I despise screen protectors, but I have been forced to use them now because of the composition of the Gorilla Glass 5. I had my Note 7 for just a few days before the micro scratches started to appear on the front and back. After I was forced to give up my Note 7, I got an LG V20. I now have several micro scratches on the screen of it as well. Gorilla Glass 5 was designed to be more shatterproof but that means it is a bit softer and scratches easier. I ordered a Whitestone Dome for my Note 8 and a Slick Wrap for the back.

I use a wet apply screen protector. Even though the glass is good, I am not a fan of micro scratches out hasn't hindered my experiences at all

No matter what glass, you just need some sand in your pocket to scratch it. Better to put on at least the first months when you're still in love with your phone

This is my first note device. Does the stylus scratch the screen over time? I'm not using a screen protector now and it's great. But just wonder about the long run.

No screen protector here. They all seem to suck for the new Samsung displays. Not sure how some of you are scratching the glass on your phones, but I haven't had any issues on my Note 7 or S7 Edge.

Never waste my money on them, Encased case with belt clip for me protects the screen

First thing I do is put screen protector, gorilla glass 5 is more soft compared to older versions. Better than getting scratches on the screen

No noticeable interference with tempered glass protectors. Currently using my phone without one, however gorilla glass 4 and 5 are easy to scratch.

I went about 5 hours without a screen protector. While at work I was worried about scratching the screen so I went straight to ATT when I got off and got a BodyGuardz glass protector.

Never used one on any of my phones.

Me!

I can't deal with screen protectors on curved screens. I started using wallet flip cases with my S7 Edge and have gotten one for every phone since. They are cheap and offer good all around protection for my lifestyle.

I had the same problem with the Note 7. I'm using a Spigen NeoFlex wet apply protector on my Note 8. Yeah, it diminishes the experience a bit, especially with the S-Pen. But it beats scratching my screen!
