Do you ever think about switching to iPhone?

Lmfaoooo
Were you holding it while realizing you were only in your underwear as everyone stared at you, and then you realized that you had totally forgotten to do the 100-page term paper that was due tomorrow otherwise you wouldn't be able to graduate? If so, then it's like you're inside my head.:p

Ever since I graduated from university, I'd always have those kinds of nightmares... There was an exam I somehow forgot about for a class that had somehow slipped my mind and without it I couldn't graduate...

A lot of postsecondary graduates seem to "have" EPTSD. (Education PTSD!) 😬

When I retire I might try an iPhone. Too many Android features I use at work to switch now.

Personally I have always been a an Android person, since my first Android phone, the HTC Hero.

My current phone is a Samsung S10+.

With my current job, I was issued an iPhone 7.
It's the first time I have had to use iOS on a daily basis.

While I have to say that iOS is not as bad as I thought it might be, there are still some really frustrating aspects of iOS.

Firstly, the simple act of Copying text is a complete PITA.

My Gov't work email is tied to the default iOS email app, and attaching a document or picture to an email is a complete PITA.

Third, the default iOS keyboard is not intuitive at all, and actually slows me down.

Lastly, as my esteemed colleagues here have mentioned, the lack of customization is super annoying.

On the filp side iMessage is one of the best, if not the best text message apps. If Apple would ever release it as a separate App on Android, I think that I might pay for it.

Additionally, there are a lot of other apps and features that do work well on an iPhone.

Personally, however, I just don't see myself ever wanting an iPhone for personal use.

Hoping you're now using Gboard for iOS.

No, it was a few years back so I don't remember it clearly. I just recall I was in a club/venue and when I reached for my phone it was an iPhone instead of a Note. Basically everything I tried to do I couldn't because it lacked the features. Also the tiny impossible to text on screen was part of it. Must of been when the 5S was still available.

This is a good option, for having both OSs. While some Android tablets are ok, the iPad is THE tablet. :)
Couldn't agree more! Most of my friends and family have iPhones and I get pressured everyday to just "FIT IN" but I like being the rebel.. That one friend with an Android phone at the table, that's me!! It drives everyone crazy and I love it..

That's not the only reason though! I just like my freedom with Android, I tell my phone what to do, not the other way around.

I can't recall anyone ever giving me grief for my Android, in fact most don't give a hoot about what other people use. Phones are so ubiquitous these days I have yet to find anyone that cares what the other is using.

Too many restrictions on Apple for me. Could never replace android with an iPhone because of that. Im loving the freedom.

Nope for many reasons. Some of them already commented here (cost, restrictions, lack of personalization ...) and other ones more personal like lack of dual SIM capability (I mean the real one not that poor trick with eSIM). Oh, and the iGrid. It's fine for a tablet, and I'm still using my ancient iPad 2, but for a phone, MY phone!!! No way! :D

Customization is key. The fact that I can make my S10 look like a Pixel or a Nexus?! These things matter to me. No jailbreak required.
