Do you ever think about switching to iPhone?

I did. I got tired of every single Android phone having some missing thing. I couldn't find the one. So I gave up and switched to iOS. This was in December of 2015. I forced myself to use iOS for at least a month. And I've been using it ever since. I really would like to use Android again because iOS really hasn't changed since I started using it. I miss the freedom but I also like my safety net with Apple and iOS right now.

I can't recall anyone ever giving me grief for my Android, in fact most don't give a hoot about what other people use. Phones are so ubiquitous these days I have yet to find anyone that cares what the other is using.

We are the only ones who seem to care! Android and iPhone enthusiasts. lol

No, had the iPhones from version 1 to 5. Phone is fine but Apple is a terrible development "partner". More like a crazy tyrant :()

Finally was able to ditch all my Apple gear and couldn't be happier....

What are you using now?

I hated iOS icons ever since iOS 7 when they decided to make them look cartoonish

iOS 6 icons were so much nicer

iOS7 is so old now.

As for the cartoon look I guess I don't see it. Going from my Pixel 2 XL to the iPhone XS Max the icons seem the same. LastPass is the same.. Tapatalk.. etc. Maybe it's just me.

It’s not just you. Some people will always hate the iPhone and Apple for no good reason.

I like being the one person in my circle of friends who uses Android. Sets me apart. Although, no one adds me to their group texts. I did have a one year stint with iOS using a 6 plus. I couldn't wait until I was up for an upgrade. The longer I used iOS, the more and more I hated it and grew bored with it. Not being able to put my freaking icons anywhere I wanted that was within in reach of my thumb was just plain stupid. Not being able to to download simple files and transfer them to my PC was also annoying. I would have to email the files to myself and then download them to my PC. Being able to say Ok Google and get answers without touching my phone is priceless. I also love Android auto on my phone when driving. It's kind of the opposite with Android. The longer I am on it, the more I love it.

I couldn't agree with you more. I too dislike how you can't even rearrange the icons to your own personal preference. I have respect for iPhone and Apple but I know I'd get bored with the OS quickly. My husband switched from an iPhone SE to my Honor 8 and then to the LG G7 ThinQ and he won't look back.

I switched to Apple in March of 2018 and have been pleasantly satisfied. I have thoroughly enjoyed it and it has ended my phone anxiety I used to have with Android where I was wanting a new phone every month.

Have I tried Android since then? Yes. And honestly I did not like the experience and went back to enjoying iPhone.

Although currently I am using a Galaxy s10e since my iPhone bit the dust and instead of getting a replacement I am waiting for the new sets of phones to come out in the fall =P

I got disenchanted with iOS for a while. But since using iPhone XS I'm back in. Main gripe is icon placement but I use folders. Phone is much improved since iPhone 6. I use my Google Fi Pixel 3XL and iPhone equally as much these days.

Don't understand the fascination with group messaging. Nothing drives me more insane than constant pinging of tons of messages from a group text, makes me want to take a chain saw to the phone.

This.

That's why with proper messaging you can silence if need be.

Curious.. how many texts do you send in a month?

You still have to deal with them silent or not. As for how many? I have no idea...tons, I own a contracting business and text is a critical communication tool with clients, sub-contractors, employees, suppliers, etc. None of them group text.
