Do you guys use google chrome or the stock web browser?

I'm also curious about this. I haven't used the stock browser since the S3 because it sucked. I never thought to try it again, as it likely has improved.

That said, I've been using Chrome for some time now. Chrome works great for me. Very fast and responsive. I can't really answer on the effects on battery life, but I do know that Chrome is cloud based as long as you're signed into your google account on Chrome. So it should use less storage.

I'm going to go back to stock for a while. Sounds like it might finally be legit...

This is one of the reasons I also use Chrome. But, in the last 45 min of using the stock browser, it does seem that Chrome is slower.

I've switch from Chrome back to the stock browser a couple days ago. I have to say that the stock browser has improved dramatically over the years. I believe that it is faster and more responsive than Chrome. I may actually stop using Chrome. Outside of picking up where I left off on PC (which I rarely do), there aren't any features on Chrome that I use and can't do on the stock browser.

I'd been a faithful Chrome user until about 18 months ago. I tried Dolphin (for the second time in about two years) and have stuck with it since. It's faster than Chrome and has a lovely customisable interface. For the five years I've been using Samsung phones I've HATED using their stock browser (slow and has a terrible interface). I'll check it out when I get a Note 5 but expect to be disappointed again.

Adegbenro Agoro. Galaxy Note 4.

I had the Note 4 as used the stock browser but this time around I bought the S6 Edge Plus when I first started up my S6 Edge Plus noticed it was Chrome so I've used it a while. Decided I wanted to go back and try the stock and to my dismay it's been wiped off of the Verizon S6 Edge Plus with no way to easily reinstall. Can't understand why Verizon would do this unless they were paid off by Google.

stock browser all the way!
that fingerprint authentication for log in is amazingly convenient. plus I want to stay away from that chrome resource hog as much as possible.

I use stock for my default browser and Firefox for Cisco Call Manager and Unity. Stock is very fast and functional but my job requires, from time to time I need mobile access to manage my Network phone system. The only browser I found that would allow me to hover over a link and get the drop down menu on my phone is Firefox.

Chrome works much better for most web-sites. It allows more plugins to play and, so opens more options at different web-sites. Firefox is good too, but the interface needs to be updated.

Anything but Chrome, usually FireFox. Chrome is a major batter drainer. Even on my PC I found Chrome to be the app responsible for my hard drive constantly whirring up and running hot. I love Google, but I think think they've just got too much stuff going on in the background of this app (data mining).

Stock browser. Always used chrome with my previous galaxy devices but i tried out stock with my note 5 and it was lag free. i just dont like stock bookmarks that i cant remove.
