Do you have a smartphone addiction?

When I read that the average user unlocks their smartphone over 100 times per day I realized I'm not too bad lol.

I am definitely not addicted to smartphones, but the Samsung S II device changed my mind about mobile devices for good. Three years ago, when I got this phone I thought that I am not upgrading my hardware until something with a lot more GPU power comes out, because I would like to play around with more advanced graphics effects on a mobile device as a programmer. I will have to check if this moment has come, OpenGl ES 3.x seems to be a lot more likable than OpenGl ES 2.x at a first glance.

I have a horrible addiction to smartphones... I couldn't even say how many I've had since I started using them in 2005 or 2006. I've had almost everything - Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, iPhone, WebOS, Palm, WP7, WP8...

In the past year and a half alone I've had:

Note 2
Nexus 4
IPhone 5
Lumia 925
Nexus 5
Note 3
IPhone 5S - twice, meaning two different phones, not the same one twice
LG G3

Still not 100% sold on the G3, so I might be swapping it for the M8, or maybe even the S5.

Yeah, I have a problem.

I'm addicted to what I'm using but I don't go overboard. I usually use one device for at least 18 months before getting my next device. I just recently got a nexus 5 after my third Z10 died on me. I might get the nexus 6 or the passport but if I did it would be because my nexus 5 would become a new phone for one of the kids.

I have a tablet addiction. Not so much buying new stuff since I'm broke but just using it a lot. I can't even watch a TV show any more without constantly looking at my ipad or nook hd plus

it depends on how you use your smartphone.
For me it's not an addiction it's just for fun. The fact that it's possible to manage and download a huge variety of games and apps that makes your life easier i must call that an addiction? If so i'm addicted :).

Personally i have smartphone addiction. But in positive way. As smartphone are becoming more smarter, we can do lot of work on smartphone itself, no need to keep laptop everywhere you go.

Not addicted to buying smartphones as I have my S5 and had an S4 for about a year, but to using a smartphone I most certainly do. Mine is on 24x7 and I take it everywhere I go.:sly::)

I'm not addicted to smart phones but definitely like to keep up to date, and I do like to get the newest phone on the block!

I am addicted to cases though but that is a different topic in itself 😊

I feel like I'm going through cold turkey here. LOL :(

I hate the new iPhone 6/Plus but all I can think about is whether or not to use my last upgrade. I need to drop $670* for the 128GB Plus but I'm thinking how much can I flip it for after playing with it for a few days, $1,000?

When the new Samsung Galaxy Note Edge comes out, I'm guessing the the outright price will cost me around $850 after taxes. So, if I skip on the iPhone and use the upgrade on the Edge, I'm guessing it will only cost me $340 after taxes.

*the subsidy price for the iPhone 6 Plus 128GB is $589.99!
*the subsidy price for the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, I guessing no more than $299.99.
