Do you keep your Navigation Bar always showing or do you auto hide it?

Our N8 came with the navigation bar in the auto hide mode, which I initially thought was an inconvenience. So I wondered why Samsung made auto-hide the default.

Could it be that they were concerned about screen burn-in should you always have the bar showing? While I don't have my brightness set higher than what auto brightness selects, I thought, perhaps, it would be safer to reset the navigation bar to auto-hide. So I did. (After all, there have already been a few reports of N8 screen burn in with people who chose higher brightness levels.) Over time, I wondered whether burn-in would possible with a static navigation bar, even with less brightness.

Do you hide your navigation bar? If so is it because of the same concerns I have, or do you just like it that way?

I leave it visible, all the time.

I'm still experimenting with it. There are definitely times that it's nice to have it there but most of the time I like having it hidden.

I leave it on... it was giving me a little trouble in some apps with the swipe up as to whether it was for the app or the nav bar.. easier with it on always and it hides itself when needed for media play

always visible apart from occasionally of say watching a video through the browser when the don't auto hide. if Samsung had put in hard press back and recent apps buttons just like they did for home then I'd have it hidden all the time

black theme so not an issue. love the extra real estate that the hidden nav bar affords. gorgeous screen.

I keep it hidden because I think it is annoying to look at

I keep it hidden because I like to use all of my screen for contents.

Hidden, was used to it on my Shield Tablet so made sense to hide it on here too.

I like it hidden but was having a few issues when texting like trying to get the keyboard up or down so I now have it visible all the time and must hide it when watching videos or movies. I love that this was an option.
