do you still use your G3?

I just bought an LG G3 for my father. He's leaving for Brazil in a couple of days and he needed an unlocked device that was an upgrade from something the size of a galaxy S2. I'm a Note 4 die hard but I fell in love with the G3. If only it had an embedded stylus with similar s-pen features. I don't see how it couldn't last him a couple of years.

Great post, thinking of picking up a G3 on eBay for $120. Had S3, S5 and an iPhone 5s....now looking for android again

You will not be disappointed. Had my G3 since November and it's rock solid. We already rolling with marshmallow.

Started having the warm phone issue and rapid battery depletion with my G3. Removed two apps, Gas Buddy and Accuweather. (Preferred 1Weather to Accuweather). Warm phone/battery depletion issue ceased. In spite of being rated 4.6, a few G3 users complained of battery drainage with Gas Buddy, and a Google search turned up several posts regarding the use of GB with phone getting warm, battery dying even without using the installed GB app.

Factory reset the G3 and you will get back the normal functionality. Also remember if the battery is dead or not working, you can replace it.

I don't have a LG G3, but I am using my Nexus 5 as my daily driver. I know it's the Nexus version of the LG G2, but the snapdragon 800 and 801 are just work horses that really are not far behind the phones with up to a snapdragon 810. Plus with the G3 coming with 3GB of ram (I think some non-US spec'd versions only have 2GB of ram) really makes the phone future proof.
