Do you use the fingerprint scanner?

I kinda stopped using it because it doesn't work after a week everytime I register a print. It could just be my finger getting dry and cracked all the time or is it because the FPS getting worn out? Do you re-register your fingerprints all the time? I just use a pin password now.

I use it everyday.
I have 4 fingers registered (both pointing and both middle fingers).
Works every time on my V20 unless finger is wet or dirty.

Yes, I use the fingerprint scanner, have three fingers registered, it works perfectly. Even use the scanner on some sites to make purchases.

I use it regularly and have registered multiple fingers. The only time I seem to have trouble, which is very rare, is after I have been in surgery for a long time and a combination of cold fingers and shrunken, shriveled fingertips from the gloves, seems to confuse the sensor a bit. Either a couple tries or waiting until my fingers warm back up...and expand, will make it work fine again.

mine always says the scanner is dirty when it's not. LG said it was a "known issue" but never fixed it. tried all suggestions, a FDR, but still busted. very disappointed in LG.

I use it daily and have multiple fingerprints registered. I haven't had any issues with it at all.

Okay I guess it's really my hands are the problem. My fingers get dry pretty fast, I notice the FPS working best when fingers are nice and moisturized.

I've had no problems, but have to wipe the scanner with a cloth often, especially if you eat while using the phone or use hand lotion. If you re-do your print, make sure you turn each touch so that it recognises different positions of your finger. Doesnt work with cold finger.

Use fingerprint almost every time. Hasn't had any major problems even with my fingers getting calluses from work and having the FPS get scratched since I've entered my prints. Every once in a while it will stop recognizing but a restart, or battery pull for good measure, fixes the problem.

What works for me is blowing hot air from my breath on the fingerprint scanner and then trying again. I just went ahead with pin password only BC of the frustration and also when you reboot your phone (which I do all the time when battery swapping), it doesn't allow you to use fingerprints which is annoying. I have it set to 30 minutes time out before locking the phone however. Plus I have a SlickWraps decal skin over the FPS now and it looks cool.
