Sounds good on the phone. But streaming music in the car needs to be turned off.

I don't normally stream. I use downloaded playlists. I am still playing around with the EQ and different features from the Sound Quality and Effects options. Are you saying it sounds louder, clearer or there is more range? Can you say why it sounds better off the 3.5mm jack in the car with Dolby Atmos turned off?

From what I noticed when I played with the S9+ in store, Dolby Atmos toggled on produces a fuller, richer more rounded sound, with more punch of bass. Keeping it on in a car would really distort the sound, due to the different stereo system.

I thought it disabled with external equipment. Bluetooth anyway should not work.

Dolby and the UHQ upscaler, Tube Amp pro, Concert Hall, work off my Deck in my car along with the EQ. The UHQ upscaler Tube Amp Pro, and Concert Hall are disabled when Dolby Atmos is enabled for the device speakers. When Dolby is disabled Concert Hall effect can be enabled for the device speakers.

Atmos works with my Bose Soundlink Mini via Bluetooth, toggling it on/off the difference is night and day. It's definitely staying on for me.
