Does a stylus only android smartphone exist?

What I mean is there an android smartphone on the market that does not respond to finger touch at all (only stylus touching). I hate when I grab my phone to put it in my pocket and my finger accidentally hits a button or when I am trying type a text and my fat finger hits 2 buttons instead of 1. Or at least if there was a way to to turn on some sort of "stylus only" mode. I know Microsoft surface has such an option (at least with some apps), but that is a tablet instead of a phone. I am looking for a smartphone stylus that is completely immune from screen finger touches... does one exist?

Welcome to Android Central! Not that I'm aware of. Have you considered getting a case with a flipcover, so that when your phone isn't in use, the cover is protecting the screen? Many phones have a smartcover view feature that allows certain information to appear in a window while the cover is closed -- which phone do you have?

I have an old school LG optimus zone 3, but I'm looking to upgrade...thinking LG Stylo 4. Surely, i am not the only one who has gone looking for a stylus only phone. Strange they don't have one on the market.

They have stylus phone like LG stylo , and even better Note series phone but I don't see them making just a stylus phone anytime soon.

Stylus phones are very much a niche market. Although the new LG V60 has an active stylus, the only real phone line that has had an active stylus for the better part of Android's lifetime is the Galaxy Note line, and that's never been as big a seller as the S line. If you were to ask most average Note users, they'd probably admit that they don't use the S Pen that much anyway. LG's Stylo line comes with a stylus, but that's a passive one that just duplicates what you can do with your finger. This is all to say that although there's bound to be some people interested in stylus phones, that interest is not enough for more phone companies to sink a lot of money into developing a new one.

I have the Note 10+ and I use the S Pen all the time when I'm at home. The only time I don't use it is at work (I don't work in a office. I work in the auto parts industry) so I'm steadily waiting on customers but when at home I use it at least 95% of the time.
