does anyone else ever have texts "get stuck" until you push your power button to wake your phone fro

Title cut off, the rest should say "from sleep manually"

This doesn't happen often but it does happen. Phone didn't tell me I had a text until I pushed the power button. Then I got 6 copies of the same message... But my SMS says that they send it at 2pm but my time of receipt was 1pm, because the time stopped updating until I put it into airplane mode and back. Phone had been left untouched since about 10am

This is quite alarming too since I rely on that time to be on time for things.

Has anyone come across this or found a fix?

Can you remind us which device you have? Are any power-saving modes on, or power-saving apps installed?

I do use greenify, but I don't have my messaging apps greenified at all.

I'm using Samsung captivate glide 4.0.4 with hand cent next SMS, but I've always kept my factory SMS app running also, just in case. it felt like a good idea not to disable/greenify it

What if you temporarily turn off Greenify -- does the same thing happen? Perhaps there's something else you're greenifying that is causing this issue.
