Does anyone have EVO's in stock...anywhere?

I ordered mine on Wednesday and got it friday from radio shack. Jumped from att and the iphone to.... RS took care of everything. New contract with 2 evo's and car chargers and walked out of the store for $350 (amazing i know)!

I wonder how many HTC is making each day. Palm Pre (whoever makes it) was making 15K a day at peak. Would think HTC could do more than that, but they also make a lot of other phones.

I called 33 stores today. Very nice people at Best Buy, Sprint Corporate, Radioshack, 3rd Party Sprint Stores, Wal-Mart, and Sam's who checked stocks at other stores and there are just no EVO's in Chicagoland.

Does anyone know of any store in Chicagoland with an EVO?

Try Radio shack in Bloomingdale , that is were I bought mine and the neighbor kid works there. Let me know if I can help. Btw the manager is Alex he is really nice.

I called around maybe 50 stores(Best buy, shack, walmart, sams club, sprint stores), ranging from Elgin to Schaumburg to Naperville to Palatine, Glenview, Skokie, Gurnee, Orland Park, Chicago city.

Did not find 1 Evo in stock, only for pre-orders.

Sorry guys. I want one just as bad as the next person (have att with iphone 3g)

I dunno... I traveled from Nashville to Knoxville, TN this week and all 4 Walmarts I went in had a minimum of 4 EVO's sitting on the shelf. The Walmart's in my area both had 4 and 5 EVO's on their shelf as of this morning.... Was in the Sprint store yesterday and my wife was upgrading to a new Blackberry and they had plenty.. Watched at least 5 or 6 people walk in ask about them and walk out with one (Murfreesboro, TN) before we went to the Sprint store we were at Best Buy and they were still sold out they also didn't have the color Blackberry the wife wanted so we ended up at the Sprint Store....

Yup, ordering it online is probably your best bet considering the Sprint store in downtown Chicago on which I was waitlisted on launch day STILL doesn't have any in stock (or if they do, they still haven't called me and I was 19th on the list).

I bought one in Cincinnati last week...walked right in and bought it, no wait list.

Wife and I got lucky. I ordered mine last Saturday and it arrived on Monday morning. Wife decided she wanted one, but we heard they were sold out. I ordered her one late Wednesday (7/9/2010) and it arrived Thursday morning. So I guess we just got lucky when we ordered they were in stock.

My fruitless day.

Well got up early had breakfast out and started my Evo hunt. First went to local 3rd party Sprint store nada zip waitlist. Said "nope see ya". Then I trekked to the RS a block away. Maybe next week they said. So SOL there to. Now went to the corp store I got my pre. Waited to be helped, girl was pleasant and all. She asked was i on the waitlist, I said no. She went in the back and said none available. Later went to local mall. One Corp store a RS a 3rd party store a BB and a BB mobile. All out. By this point was beyond bummed.

Well went online. And what ya know they are in stock. Did the order and hopefully it will be at my door before they all get their shipments.

That was Saturday that Sprint had them in stock. Got it Monday morning! Look at that screen. Wow! Props to Sprint for the amazing delivery time.

Sprint is actually playing it cool this time around. With daily deliveries to many stores, they have the benefit of "selling out" again day after day, only to be refreshed again the next morning. If you can't find an EVO, try again tomorrow or better yet, get on a waitlist at corporate store. You won't have to wait long, I promise.

I have been on a waitlist since launch day and haven't heard anything yet. That seems to be a pretty long time. Oh well.
