Does anyone have EVO's in stock...anywhere?

I called 2 Sprint stores as a spot check.

One just got a dozen units in today and they said come soon as they'll be gone in hours - no waiting list.

Another store (10 miles away) had a waiting list of 30 people.

Those looking might try calling all Sprint stores in your area as some might have stock.

I thought I had one on hold, but the guy thought I said hero (why on earth would I be calling frantically for one of those!?!) so I think I've become desperate enough to lose out on the instant rebate at RS and BB and just order online.

Our local Best Buy Mobile manager is a friend. She said today that she gets on average 20 to 30 EVO's each weeks and the waiting list has help constant about 30 new people aded every week. Last week she got in 50 and was able to give happy news to all but 30.

This week she only got in 20 and so the waiting list grew again. The good news is that almost everyone gets a phone within three weeks.

You can have all the Epics you want. She said that they have sold hundreds but can order all they want.

I am lucky to have some contacts at local sprint store and got them actually hold 1 for me but I am a huge exception!

I know the shipments, depending on size are lasting 45 min to 1 day and that is all. Pretty much luck of the draw.

My dad got one on first try but they had just shown up.
