Hi guys. Does anyone know how to keep the beauty mode left on permanent unless I untick it?

Since updating the phone yesterday it seems like the beauty mode doesn't stay on every time I come to video or take a picture.

I think whic Huawei version 107 or 110 or...?

I read that on last 120 and 128 update they fix it

I thought it was something simple I could change in the settings as well to keep it permanently on.

Doesn't portrait mode always shoot in beauty mode?

I think if you drop the resolution down one step from the highest it's enabled by default even when off.

I think it's something to do with image stabilization or having a buffer of something.

kind of annoying really. If I turn it off it should stay off.

ya especially the selfie mode I spoke with the Huawei rep it's a joke they told me clear cache I was like that has nothing to do with that. They need to have option to literally turn off beauty mode not set for 0 it doesn't do anything. Give the user the option to turn it on or off. Asides from that I really enjoy the camera. Hopefully new updates that will correct this and add more AI or pro filters.

Yeh i second that. Hopefully they'll listen. Took a picture of my daughter, we were both laughing at the results, think it was on the default setting of 5. Turned it to 0 its better than it was but yeh i just want natural portraits. So we really should have that option.
