When the Samsung Moment was first relased by Sprint last November for $179 after a $100 mail in rebate and some retailers like Best Buy were offering $179 with instant rebate...... we get to today....
Sprint has discounted the Samsung Moment to only $99 and Best Buy has totally dropped the Moment from its Sprint lineup.
What's going on??? Why the fire sale??? Why is Sprint trying to rid or dump the Moment??? Is it full of problems or a new Samsung 4G is on the way???
I usually look at the carrier (Sprint) pricing to indicate product longevity. Third parties like Amazon, Best Buy, Radio Shack etc have always offered better pricing than the carrier especially when it comes to mail in rebates.
But when the carrier prices the product at $99 (like many of its non smartphones) and Best Buy has stopped carrying the Moment????
I recall the Moment and Hero were about the same price (at Sprint) and now the Moment is only $99 and the Hero is $149. Does Sprint have a ton of Moments that it wants to get rid of??? Is the product not selling???
I don't know what all this means. Just suspicious. I hope it means maybe we're looking for a new Samsung Moment (4G) replacement sometime soon maybe but I haven't heard of anything yet. But I thought the new 4G was suppose to be the HTC Supersonic??? Maybe a Samsung one too!?!?!?
