i have looked everywhere, but i cannot find one that does. i can't stand the added bulk that the 2 piece snap on cases add, and i never use the keyboard any way, so a nice 1 piece silicone or resin cover would be excellent. it would also cut down on the number of times that the keyboard slides open while in my pocket, which happens fairly often. i know i can't be the first one to think of this!

i was thinking the same thing the other day. And as nice as it would be. I would still like to be able to quickly slide open the phone if need be.

No one is going to try and market a case that negates one of the features that separates our phone from the pack. However, all of these phones are pretty close in size, and it wouldn't suprise me if another silicone case would work. Nexus One? X? You may need to do some surgery to expose the power button, volume rocker and headphone and charging jacks.

I agree the separate snap on cases make my Droid huge. I may just use it for the screen and leave the back off.

I have looked and wished for a case like this since I got my Droid. I have gone through 4 snap on cases including an otterbox because they always break. Now I just use the back part only. There is a metal hard case sold by boxwave that prevents the keyboard from sliding when it is closed, but the case is heavy and pretty bulky. That is the only case that did not break on me, but I returned it because I really did not like the feel of it.
