My Rant of the Day...
...apps like clean master speed up charging time and clean junk
They do not, cannot, have any effect on charging time. Cleaning junk rarely, if ever, needs to be done and has no effect on performance. And you should never,
ever install anything by Cheetah Mobile!
I know that CM's Battery Saver both extended my battery time, but more importantly, reduced my charging time dramatically on my Galaxy Note 2.
Impossible for it to cut charging time. Simply. Impossible. See the links below about Cheetah Mobile products and why they should be considered malware!
Just installed DU Battery Saver. Don't like it, and several feature are paid-only for the PRO version. Switching back to BatteryDoctor and going to try to recoup the last half-hour of my life.
DU Battery Saver is one of the worst apps ever available for Android. Ineffective - yes it is, like all such so-called battery savers. Worse, it throws up nag ads, false scary-sounding warnings, etc. And maybe even worse than that, like Cheetah Mobile apps, DU data-mines your info and sends it back to DU and to who knows who else. All apps by DU and Baidu (DU's parent company) should be considered malware and avoided at all costs! Battery Doctor is another Cheetah Mobile app. Enough said.
See these links and the links in them for more information:
The 1st link inside this link is a long thread about DU Battery, Battery Doctor and much,
much more. A veritable treasure trove of good information and knowledge by some very smart people. The other links are good too.

This list of apps and companies to be avoided barely scratches the surface of what's out there, but it should help a little:
