Does DEX Use "Tethered" Data

I got my DEX adapter cable today and it has issues with dropping the video quite often so I need to get the cable replaced. But I can see right away I'm going to get addicted and use the heck out of it. Does Verizon consider data used through dex tethered data? I hope not as I have unlimited phone data but my tethered gets throttled back at 15gb.

I have Verizon and have used DeX a good bit, never seen the data usage considered tethering.

I don't see why they would. The phone is using the data not the monitors plugged into.

If hotspot isn't enabled, it's not tethered data.
