Hey guys, I couldn't find anything on this that really answered my question so I thought I'd just make a new thread. Does having nfc on drain battery? Obviously if your beaming pictures to friends or paying for stuff constantly using your phone the battery will drain St a faster rate., but if it's on say for a whole day and not being used does it have a big impact on battery life itself? Thanks

my philosophy is - if you aren't using it - turn it off. if you use it regularly - leave it on. i leave mine off because i never use it.

I leave mine on constantly and notice no battery impact. If you're worried about it, pick a day where you'll be near a charger and leave it on to see if it impacts your battery. My guess is you won't see a difference.

That's good to know... I just have a "trigger" in my car... Loses its benefit if I am going to settings every time I get in my car, just to enable nfc. Might as well just enable Bluetooth and be done with it

I keep it off on my Samsung phone. When needed it'll turn it on.
