You should wait for the HTC One 2 to be released. Much better specs, processor etc. I've heard that it might have a Snapdragon 805 processor versus the Snapdragon 600 on the current HTC One. Maybe a dual lenes camera. It will have sense 6 and the newest version of Kitkat.

It depends on the price (on or off contract) but if I could, I would wait only in the hope the camera gets a needed upgrade on resolution/mpx and improvements over the current issues with purple/blue haze on many Ones.
