Does it still show the Time when not paired to a Phone?

Question is in the title, but anyway. If I got a Pebble or Pebble Steel, would they work as a normal watch when not paired?

Yes it still shows the time. The weather of course does not work.

Good, and that makes sense. I won't be able to have it paired while at school.
