Does Jelly Bean fix Micro USB to HDMI MHL?

I know this may be a little late, but I'm using a PNY MHL adapter. Right now it's working and I'm on JellyVerse Base: FL16 Firmware: 4.1.2 Model: Epic 4G Touch.
I got the adapter from Fry's Electronics for $20. =.S
Shoulda look online, they go for about $12-$15. You may not find a Fry's near you since there is about 90 stores nationwide. LoL!!

So for HDMI was not "broken" on on ICS nor Jellybean. I'm guessing you all just have bad adapters. I did hear, however, that AOSP ROMs for our phone breaks MHL. It doesn't work at all. Now that's different story.

Did you change build.prop?

I tried:

RO.HDMI.ENABLE=TRUE
RO.HDMI.MIRROR.ENABLE=TRUE

and nothing..

I am with Galaxy N7000 and the rpoblem began when I upgraded origin Android 2.3.5 for Cyanogenmod 9 (JB - Android 4.1). Now I came back to a stock Android 2.3.6 (N7000UBKK1-N7000UBKK2) and problem continues.

Ok follow up - flashed with jelly bean pacman version 4.1.2 and the samsung adapter now WORKS! Yeah!

Can you inform me what is ROM link or version of 4.1.2 you downloaded? I tried a lot of different version after upgraded from 2.3.5 and now I am using a 2.3.6 (N7000UBKK1) withou sucess.
