Does Keeping OK Google Always OK affect Battery Life

Does switching "ok Google" to always listening on the Nexus 6 affect the battery life at all? This way it can hear you even if the screen is off.

It hasn't noticeably affected mine. There should be a part of the processor that controls it and is low power.

I haven't done a comparison on this phone yet, but it certainly did on my G3.

Take a look at your battery stats. Google Search was at like 15% with OK Google detection on any screen, and about 5% without.
