Does low memory make DI reboot itself?

When I first got the DI and installed task manager it showed the available memory around 250M. Over a two or three day period the available memory goes down to around 50M. My DI on average reboots once every 3 days. Are they related or is it task manager that is the real problem?

i hear task managers just cause more issues than they are helpful.

mine has NEVER rebooted. my gf's has NEVER rebooted. I've had mine since April 28th. Never had to do a battery pull either.

Both of our Incredibles do not have task managers installed on them. I let the OS do its own thing.. and if I don't want something open.. I just go to Applications > Manage Applications.. and then click on the one I want to close.

Mine has rebooted once due to a faulty app. Other than that Android is wrote that if it gets around the 30-40mb range it starts killing apps off until Android can run stable. If that doesn't happen I would imagine Android would reboot itself to free up memory or close out any apps for some reason it can't kill.

Mine has rebooted about 5 or 6 times, it was doing it once a day, then yesterday it did it twice.

Normally it does it just sitting there without me acutally using it, then today I was taking pics and took one and the phone just shut off and rebooted....so, I think I will make a call to customer service and see about getting it replaced....kinda has me worried.

I uninstalled task manager and will see if that does the trick. How can I tell though how much available memory there is or whether Android will start closing applications?
