Does Moto Z4 support USB-C to HDMI video output

Hey guys,

I was wondering if the moto z4 supports usb-C to HDMI video output. I have a a Microsoft wireless display adapter, but the Moto doesn't "see" it. I could use a chromecast, but I want to use the phone's audio. Do any of you know if I could use a direct connection by wire?

Not as far as I can see. You'll have to use Chromecast.

No, it doesn't. I don't think any current Moto phone has for the past few years, since they started using stock Android. As mentioned, you would have to use a Chromecast.

There's a cable on Amazon claiming it can do it. It's suggesting normal USB-C to HDMI adapters don't work because they need external power and this cable provides external power via a 3rd USB-A connection. I haven't tried it, so I don't know if this is actually true... has anyone else tried it?
