Does not play any video after latest update

Hi all.
I updated my phone to the latest android version, 4.4.2, and since then it stopped playing videos. It complains that the video has invalid format.
Has anybody encountered this problem? Is there any known fix?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you talking about streaming videos or locally stored video files? Which app are you using to play videos?
