Does pentile make the screen not truly HD?

I m pretty sure limit for human eye is 60fps, thats what all monitors and tv had before.
The limit's certainly higher than that. 60Hz on a CRT monitor caused noticeable flicker for most people (to the point that it induced headaches in many, including me), which would more or less disappear if you ramped the refresh rate up to 75Hz+. But even then there was (for me, at least) a perceptible improvement going from 75-85, and I'm sure some people could tell the difference going even higher. But I'm derailing further, sorry.

You can tell the GN display is Pentile if you know what you're looking for, and if you study it closely. To the average user, especially those who aren't completely finicky and anal retentive about every aspect of their devices (as most of us here are!), it's barely perceptible and certainly not noticeable in everyday usage. The pixel grid on this MacBook I'm stuck with at work is more noticeable than the GN pentile pattern.

I see it mainly in red, but it doesn't bother me at all. It's certainly better than past pentile screens.

my son has a rezoned, my wife has a iPhone 4s and my friend has a razor.. and we all agree that the nexus has the superior screen!!

I don't know or care. All I can say is that it's the most beautiful screen I've seen on an Android device.

ummm.... it's the most beautiful screen I've seen on *any* smartphone or portable electronic device! Period. :)

well.... I take that back.... for screen size under 7 inches. :)

My co-worker bought the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 from overseas. It has a super amazing 7.7 inch
Super AMOLED
screen and I couldn't stop drooling while holding it in my hands. :(

This is my 3rd day with the g nex. I also have a RAZR. Yes the g nex screen is better. And yes I can't see Pentile on here like I can the RAZR.

With that said...I can't really tell the difference unless I hold them both closer than normal.

When I had the RAZR, I felt the screen had a very greenish-bluish tint to it that isn't present on the Galaxy Nexus screen (or, at least, not nearly to the same degree).
