Does screen recorder notify people on snapchat?

My friend and I tested it tonight. We were both recording our screens. I started mine before I opened SnapChat and she started hers (on an iPhone) after she opened SnapChat. On my end, it said Iris has started a screen recording, and on her end, it said Monica has a screen recording going (or something similar)

So the answer is Yes, the other person/people know!!

Which app did you use? I've tested in the past with another 3rd party app and no such notification appears

She was on an iPhone so I am not sure what she was using... I used the built-in screen recorder on the Note 10+
