does the bionic have stereo speakers?

While watching a YouTube video today, my finger covered the bottom speaker and muffeled the entire audio track. I then tried an mp3 and I had the same results. It seems that the (what I think is) top speaker next to the camera doesnt put out any sound.

Is mine broken or is there only 1 speaker?

The top speaker is for phone calls only. The back bottom speaker is for all notification sounds, music, etc.
