Does the latest ICS leak improve battery life or anything else?

Forgive me if this has been already asked. But I was wondering if the latest ICS leak that supposedly will be the ota update soon has improved things like battery life, data stability, and device performance? I am pondering getting the gs3 because of random drops to 1x data that require turning data on and off or 4g on and off or even a restart to get 3g/4g back I am on my 3rd rezound all have had similar issues on my 3rd rezound they seem to crop up more often. I don't know if it is the phone or what? The verizon store said they have to see the problem before they order a replacement.

Thanks in advance for the input

I saw a pretty decent increase in battery life going from GB to ICS(back in Jan/Feb when we first got it)

I have seen better battery and performance, but cannot speak to your data loss woes. I had a small Window, like a day, where I had issues but otherwise it has been stronger than all my Samsung devices put together

With the latest (June-ish) HTC leak, I get better standby time, but worse in-use battery life. Data is significantly more stable, the mobile hotspot is FLAWLESS, and ICS is generally more polished than GB --- but Sense 3.6 is every bit as bad and flaky as 3.5 (and really brings ICS down).

Examples: Accessing certain things is a bit slower than before, I always remember my device being instantaneous at all times with GB - it's really not bad now though. Sense still occasionally decides to drop my external SD card for no reason, it's now improved to about once every 3 days instead of daily. I think the Sense pull-down settings have about a 15% - 90% success rate depending on its mood, that's not much worse or better than with GB, so it shouldn't be much of a concern. The main problem I noticed is with the stock browser, the address bar doesn't clear with a tap, you have to select all, then delete...I just use Chrome and Opera instead, so not a big deal.

Overall, there's really no compelling reason to not upgrade. YMMV.

This is a long shot and it's probably a silly question. Since things may be more efficient with ICS, is there any decrease in the battery temp while in use? The phone gets pretty warm when using some games, facebook etc. I'm wondering if ICS ever officially comes out if I will stay with the Rezound or upgrade to the GS3. ICS sounds good....
