Does the Lilac Purple look Pink in Person?

I preordered the Lilac S9+ in Lilac and am looking at cases. I live pretty far away from a Best Buy or Verizon store to see it in person so would appreciate if anyone doing a hands on in a store would snap and post a "real" photo.

If it really does look more pink, it may influence my choice of cases.

I just got back from looking at the S9+ in store. I wouldn't call the color pink, per se. Under white light, it's more mauve, to me; it probably looks more pink under yellow lighting, but it's not pink at all.

girl_Interrupted513, thank you!!! I had wondered if the phone looked more mauve - a color I don't think guys understand...things are either pink or purple to them. It looks more mauve to me in the photos you took which means much more color selections as far as cases for me.

Yeah, I think guys shy away from it thinking it's not a "masculine" color. It's not as if it's actually pink or even rose gold. The Raspberry Rose V30 definitely looks hot pink to me in certain lighting, which makes it more of a feminine color than the Lilac S9/S9+.

I preordered the Lilac. I'll have a case on it just about 24/7. I got one case so far- particularly because I'm not positive I'll keep it. I get to hold onto the Note 8 for about 2 weeks before making the decision and can return it if I want.

So if it is more mauve (which I love), how does this affect the case colors I've been seeing online. They all look really purple, and I'm not a huge fan of just a clear case (maybe the clear sparkle by Case-Mate). I think I may wait until I have the phone in hand to buy my case(s).

I got the clear sparkle case mate for my Lilac s9. I think it will be really pretty.

I have the case-Mate sheer glam (pretty much the same as the clear sparkle) on my S6 Edge now. I just wanted something different this time.

Depends a lot on the lighting. This is under bright fluorescent lights.
