Does the plastic body really bother you?

Doesn't bother me. Just got my S4 and the first thing I did was to put it in a flip top case, with a screen cover.. Took off the cover again, added a 64 gb sd card, put it back. No problem, plus I am sure they sell after market ones if a user wants to change. Also, I heard that metal does something with the reception. Don't know if that is accurate or not..

For those who want metal, $7.99 will take care of that in style and ease.. :)

No, I don't mind it because I have a Spigen Slim Armor View on mine which gives it a little bulk and great protection. I do get worried when I take the back off though- it does seem like it could easily snap in half.

I love everything about my phone with my Spigen case on it.

I've had an s3 and have an htc One now and i love the way the metal feels in my hand, it feels like it wont slip out of my hand compared to plastic and it makes the phone look nicer too. I've had my One for a month and not one scratch on it and no case either. I guess it just depends on what you prefer. This thread feels like it was made to bash the One for some reason especially since you should be asking one users not s4 users how they feel about the plastic since One users are the people who prefer the aluminum.

How in the hell was this thread made to bash the One? And why would he ask on another forum? We're the ones who use a plastic phone o an day to day basis so the audience is perfectly targeted.

How about I just ask a sheep does it bother him to be a chicken. Makes sense right...

First of all calm down, second if you can't see how this thread isn't in response to the htc one then i don't know how to explain it to him. And if people were really bothered by the s4 or s3's plastic feel then they wouldnt have the phone.

I didnt make this thread to bash One users. The HTC One isnt the only phone with aluminum. Obviously I didnt ask this in the One forum since I wanted opinions from S4 users because im getting one myself. I wanted to see if it was a problem that got in the way daily, and it doesnt seem like it does, especially with a case.

What? I'm not even gonna bother with a lenghty response

Nope, actually the S4 feels pretty high quality to me. But it's spent most of the time I've had it inside an otterbox defender for a better grip as the plastic to me is pretty slippery. :p

From my Sammy Galaxy S4 :D

Let's be real here. Construed the following as bashing or whatever you want to perceive this as, not in the slightest mood to care what you may think. But fixing the S4 is much easier than to fix an HTC One. A scuffed up body can be replaced on the S4. A scuffed up metal piece on HTC One can't be replaced. Fixibility on a scale of 1 - 10 for S4 is 10. HTC One is 1. There you go.
