Does the S21 Ultra come with a pre-installed screen protector?

There was not a pre-installed screen protector on my S20 Ultra today when I got it. I'm in the U.S.

They saving money no screen protector or chargers, headphones etc.

At this point I'm surprised they're even including a screen let alone a screen protector lol. Pretty soon it'll be a "build your own phone" business model where you have to pay for the parts separately

Watched the Jerry rig everything video and Zacks had 2!

As I said earlier, my suspicion is phones from Samsung have them and carrier phones don't. The carrier's don't want one included because then they can sell you one.

If only...

There was no pre installed screen protector on my unlocked directly from Samsung US S21 Ultra

Same here as well, direct from Samsung US S21 Ultra 512 Unlock no screen protector, just the plastic film for the screen and camera. Based on all the talk would it have one or not I bought a screen protector before my phone arrived to put on the first day just in case. Worse case, I could use it later even if it did have one like my S20U.

Like others have mentioned, I feel like Samsung is penny pinching here on all the extras. Sure, they could save money here and there, but their top of the line models I would think at this cost point its worth including for those that pay top dollars for. Its these small things sometimes that make us more satisfy. :)

don't worry soon , base price 350.00 for the shell.. battery ,screen, sim tray that will come in at another 550.00 but wait the phone antenna will cost additional 200 to complete your purchase, now you have choice to pay by samsung pay ,credit card or installments

So, US version, Verizon (not unlocked). I went to install my usual Armor Suit matte and had a terrible time of it. (I have done this with every phone I have had since the S7 with no issues). Got to looking a little more closely, and I think there actually IS a facory screen protector. Although, it is darn near impossible to detect. I just noticed that there appears to be a catch at the extreme edge of the screen, but not quite all the way against the aluminum case. So, I took out the work camera, and zoomed in using the magnifier widget. Using an additional light from the side, it looks like something is on top of the screen. Could it be that the factory protector is put on so well as to be virtually undetectable? (Not trying to peel it off till I get a replacement for the protectors that would not go on.... but I am gonna give it a shot when the replacements come in.)

(PS, yes, it looks like there is dust in the picture too.... apologies for that.)

Try feeling the front facing camera. I did the same, installed my own screen protector which wouldn't fit properly. Eventually took it off and noticed there was a factory fitted one already on! Very hard to spot around the edge but I can definitely feel it around the camera and when I look in the right light I can see it.

this is strange... so Samsung randomly applies screen protectors on their phones for US customers?

my s21+ never came with one. but others are saying that theirs came with it from factory. and one owner even said his/hers came with TWO on their ultra?!? so random?!

If it's there, there is no cutout for the front camera(which I find odd). But, if you look closely at the jerryrig video (he shows the removal after scratching), there isn't a cutout on it in the one he pulls off(@1:40 seconds or so)

If you look at it closely, the circular cutout is clearly visible on the screen protector both before and after he pulls it off.
