Does the Thunderbolt battery fit the inspire?

Now that the Thunderbolt is out, does anyone know if the Thunderbolt battery will fit the inspire?

Nope. Here's a picture of the Thunderbolt battery. It looks totally different from the Inspire's.

It certainly would be nice if it did. Maybe I would get even longer than one day out of a charge.

I recently read in a forum that the Desire HD 1600 mAH battery will fit the Inspire 4G but I have not verified this is true.

i got a 1600 mAH from ebay for the desire HD and tried it on my inspire. it actually drained faster.
best stick with the OEM battery.

With all the complaints about the battery life on the Inspire, someone is bound to manufacture a quality replacement sooner or later. I'm hoping for sooner.
