My phones have been draining on my super great work WiFi since I switched to TMobile. Lol Sprint it lasted forever. I guess I could put my phone on airplane mode hahah.
Seems like not many other people have that issue... Maybe I'm one of the crazy ones.It is definitely odd. If it's only a few percent it ain't so bad but I am curious why the V20 is like that if so.
Below is my pixel today. Lots of casting to my Chromecast Ultra and such.. plus driving around town when not home. So far so good.

Off topic, but how did you get the solid home, back and multitasking buttons?Do you have this option on? Under location > Advanced? Also check under WiFi > Advanced and ensure you don't have it set to allow Google to randomly check WiFi networks around you.

I am on a Pixel XL.Off topic, but how did you get the solid home, back and multitasking buttons?
Oh ok. Makes since now. I just thought it looked cool and was hoping it was some nav bar customization app. Thanks though.I am on a Pixel XL.
Any chance you could use battery monitoring apps like Gsam to get detailed information on the draining issue? I think Gsam app provides info on wifi and lte strength so you can compare. Also I noticed too my phone gets poor performance from Wi-Fi. I was able to solve some of the issues by changing the Wi-Fi sleep policy, I changed it wifi to switch off when the phone screen is off.... It definitely helped since my wifi drain when the screen is off. Admittedly, that setting won't help you when you are actually using the phone and will mean you won't get updates if the phone is in sleep mode but it definitely made a big difference to overall battery life.yeah I'm pretty sure. I can see a drop in battery life as opposed to when I'm on my network.. Maybe the wifi at my office doesn't bode well with my phones?
Havent used an app, but I did switch the settings how you did.Any chance you could use battery monitoring apps like Gsam to get detailed information on the draining issue?
