Does your phone have developer options?

My gf just got her G2 last night and I was surprised to see hers has developer options and mine doesn't. Our software builds are exactly the same. The only difference is her prl. Her phone seems to have better reception than mine as well.

Are you on the same carrier?
Try going into settings>about phone>and tapping build number 7 or 8 times.

Go to general settings > About Phone > Software Information and then tap repeatedly on Build Number (about seven times) and it will turn on Developer Options.

Even tho I don't really care about it but mine has it. I'm on Verizon.

I use the Stay Awake feature in dev options on my note 2. But that is about it.

You can turn down animations. That can help any lag seen on the device.

In settings..developer options...animation scales should be about half way down.

I have AT&T version and was able to access dev screen. Too scared to mess with anything in there though for fear of messing something up.
