Doing a master rest

I've installed "my backup pro" on my device. I have no complaints regarding this app. I bought and installed the My backup pro on my wife's device just minutes ago. My question is should I remove the sd card before using my backup pro before starting the master reset?

Shouldn't matter for the backup (unless you moved apps to it or the app has an option for SD card back up), but as a general 'rule of thumb' (just because SD Cards can cause wonky behavior sometimes) it is recommended that you remove SD cards when resetting a device... just in case.

What are you backing up to? Something other than the SD card? Then you can, if you don't want to back up anything on the SD card.

(Of course, most of that can be backed up without buying software - read Backing up an Android Device.)

As for a "master reset", do you mean a factory reset or something else?
