I anticipate a lot of S21 ultra owner not being impressed, in fact I think ppl might just stick with their S21 ultra. Yea the S22 ultra is new but it feels slower than it’s predecessor. It’s not as smooth (noticeable), it’s not as fast and the new SoC is not impressive AT ALL.

Look at the Linux Kernel version differences. Something isn't right with Geekbench.

My phone is very snappy not noticing any slowdowns.... Comparing it to the Pixel 6 Pro here it's fliud and handling everything perfectly so far..

TBH I never run any benchmarks ..it's a number that means absolutely nothing to me ... I've used enough phones to know what is running correctly..
I don't either, don't know what they mean. I did it on the fold 3 just to compare numbers here as I know the fold runs good

Exactly I'm going to get a good number or a bad number and somebody's eyes but the only thing that's going to matter to me is how fast I'm going in and out of apps.. and how fluid the phone is running...

Yeah that's the pixel 6 pro. I'm comparing with the S21 ultra that is VERY snappy and responsive.

You know what's crazy, I usually don't either but the real world performance made me curious enought to run the benchmarks just to see if it translated to it and it did.

Mine single core performance is slower than yours but multi-core is higher:

Note 20 Ultra: 931/3165
S22 Ultra: 985/3335

I really don't know what to expect.

I hear you I mean I'm sure your comparisons going one for one really more important than the numbers... I'm coming from Pixel 6 Pro and Fold 3 ..
I'm not seeing any stuttering or slower movement around the UI ...I just set up this afternoon so more testing coming up ...

Keep us updated please. Everyone please keep us updated. I don't have mine yet and if I don't open it I can return it for no cost. I'll be paying attention here

I don't care about benchmarks. I use my phone to determine if it's fast enough. I've had only flagship devices, since I started with smartphones. I've never had a "slow" phone. Never. Perhaps I'm just lucky.
