Hey guys, I'm sure you already know, but the Edge is available again on AT&T website. I decided I'm going to save the time and gas money, and just wait until it comes in the mail. Anyhow, just wanted to make sure you guys know it's available!

If you get yours sooner - enjoy!

I wonder if they will sell out?

What's a couple days in the grand scheme, even if we had found them today? Weekends go fast anyway and then Monday is right around the corner.

Exactly! I'm excited for the new phone, but really was tired of trying to track it down, LOL. Now just waiting for my tracking number and I'll be happy.

I'm almost about to do the same. I did have an ATT rep that really went out of his way but.. I'm tired of it myself.
 
At that ATT store now. It's been such an ordeal but I got it in my hands now.

Just left the store with a white model. They only had 2 in stock. Will post pictures when I get back to work.

Here some pics. I had to call 4 stores. I was told Monday at one. Next week at another. End of month at one. The 4th store had 2 in stock.

Man I really hate AT&T right now.

Not because I don't have the phone in hand (would be great) but I have never dealt with such terrible CS and a lack of just caring. I preordered on the 6th, went to a store in Houston on the 7th to see if they would sell them then. They said no, not today this is just for display but available on the 14th. So I continued to call this past week to 3 stores, all gave different info (understandable) but none had received any shipments but to call back on Thurday. Then this morning at 9 am I call all 3 and again not yet, but would get some in around 11am. So I arrive, and of course the lady went and found in the computer that they had 2 and that ups just left. Then her and the manager went to the back and came out 10min later stating they should have gotten them but that UPS STILL HASN'T BEEN THERE! SERIOUSLY?

Store 2- after calling decided to go in. Get there and a manager standing at front asks if I could help- I tell him why I'm there. He says "we are actually selling the last one to that guy right now!" So I say, how do you receive a shipment in 1 hour and sell out? He says the guy called from another store and they held it for him. I said I called earlier (1hr ago) and you hadn't received any in yet- Dude says "We have been selling them since the 7th!!!!!" I said I was here on the 7th and called literally everyday to see if you would get them in and told no, now you're telling me they've been here?!? I then called Bull**** and he couldn't understand why I was mad or confused during this fiasco. I hate being a customer of such a terrible corporation knowing I can't leave because their service is the best.

I feel ya. This has been such a hassle. Tried to pre-order and the site wouldnt let me. Called CSR twice and was told their payment system was done and then that I should go the the store. I gave up till today.
 
I feel your pain. Not only AT&T but Samsung is to blame. No wonder Apple sells 10 iPhones for 1 Samsung phones. I do not know when Samsung will learn how to do NPRs.
 
Jealous of you getting a white one, apparently T-Mobile is only getting the black ones. I had to order online, none of the stores in my area had it.
 
Now I'm even nervous about my preorder showing up today. Fedex shows that it departed Ft Worth on Friday and no further updates. Sure the estimated delivery date is today but I know that is never set in stone. This will be the last time I ever preorder.

Yeah, that seems odd. Mine shows departing as well, but I ordered mine on Friday for delivery tomorrow.

Well my worst fears have come true. I called Fedex and they confirmed they have no idea where my phone might be. They do know that it didn't make it to my fedex depot for it's scheduled delivery today. They put a trace on it and they will have news for me within 14 days!
Obviously I was already irate. So I called AT&T and I got the worst customer service representative ever, who had no idea what to do. I asked for her supervisor and she hung up on me. Hooray for that improved AT&T cs! If Verizon had the Edge, I would have dumped my 5 line account today and switched. But I'm not real stoked about Tmo or Sprint, so cancelling makes no sense. Still weighing my options right now.

OK, that's a bummer! Perhaps you can just go to the store and purchase one in person? Then cancel that order etc... Sorry to hear that.

That was my immediate response. I went to all 3 area stores and none have gotten any Edges yet. They are all acting as dumb as last week. "No idea if we're getting any" They all said to check back but I'm basically in limbo.

Wow...what a joke! Yep - my experience exactly; why I created this post in the first place.
