Dongle sound quality.

Very interesting thread, whilst not having a pixel, currently have HTC U11+

Previous phones were Axon 7 and LG G6 with quad dac and I'm finding sound quality to be perfectly adequate via the dongle.

How's the battery life on the U11+ with that LCD screen? I know LCD's are more color accurate, but they're also more power-hungry when compared to AMOLED, which I'm wary of. Are you able to see the screen in direct sunlight at max brightness? Any problems with reception or call quality? It sucks that there aren't any MIL-SPEC cases available for it, or else I would've imported it since I love BoomSound.

Battery life is excellent, regularly see 8+ hours screen on times.
Had no problems with sunlight but we are winter here, reports from far east indicate that they don't have problems though.
Lack of cases is a pain.
