If you find yourself noticing that the battery doesn't seem to last the first few days. Give it a few days or so, open all your apps, and let the phone optimize them. ;) Then you should be good.

Remember the phone is used more over the first few days as a person sets it up and plays around with it's features.

A battery doesn't reach optimum output until it's been charged and discharged a few times.

This is good advice. I know that when I got mine yesterday, the battery was at 79% out of the box. I charged it up and used it all day getting it set up and ran it down to 18% before bed. Charged overnight and am STILL working on getting it all set up. The battery is going to go quick because I am on it more now than normal.

Great advice and I hope people read this and realize that it'll get better. :D

"Person X or some youtuber is getting 8 hours SOT but I'm only getting 5 hrs SOT "

Stop comparing SOT metric. No you can't convince me that it's useful comparing between different people. You can compare it with your other or previous phones with similar setup and conditions.

Exactly!

I left the Note 20 Ultra at home this morning on 98%, took the sim out and put it into the Mate XS, when I got home at 3.30pm I checked my Note and it had lost 1% since 7am, that's with it on, not turned off.
Strange.
