Don't like the bloat-apps? Just delete them.

I still don't understand the hate for Sprint TV. I think it is not bad...of course I'm new to it as it is on my wife's tour (personal) but not my curve (business phone).

My goodness, how long will this thread go on without somebody giving us details of what apps were removed along with confirmation of how much storage space was gained after said removal. Very frustrating.

I don't either, I'm always watching ESPN on there when I have downtime at work. I do however hate everything else

Why's that? I hope it doesn't have to do with it being a southern thing and the stigmata that comes with all things southern. That would directly insult my wife and my in-laws, all from Georgia. I'm sure you weren't trying to do that now were you?

Nope, I think he was just saying NASCAR sucks..which it does. Silly racers spending 2hrs going in circles to find the finish line. Some of us find it in 12 seconds or less. ;):D

Pack , looks like nothin but bloat praise here. Guess running out of room on your device and wanting to free up space is an acquired taste. Should be gettin my 3d by Saturday the latest and since I'm keeping my 4g, I will experiment with the 3d until I get a spare battery from amazon and post as many answers as I can.

The only apps on the phone that are added by Sprint and seem to be unremovable are the Sprint Zone and the Amazon Mp3 app.

EDIT: Also can't remove Spider-Man and Sprint Mobile Wallet. Doesn't seem to free up and space when you remove things though. Most of the removable items are only a few KB.

At least we don't have to look at them. :)

Totally off the subject kind of. If I move apps to sd card and restart my phone it just show the genric green android icon, anyone else have this issue?

Guys come on,... we all know that he meant that all Southerners are more "saintly" than the rest of us and thus all bleed from the wounds of Christ. O:-)

Yes same here, when I move to SD, the widget disappears from the home screen, and disappears from the app drawer... ;(

The bloat is back - and now I am unable to remove it

Whelp, had some odd signal issues with my evo and spent time working with support to correct them.

Got them corrected but it required pushing a new update to my phone. After applying the update the bloat mostly came back and now I am unable to remove it.

My data connection is working fine now, though. I'm not sure if I am a one off or more is to come, but man am I bummed.

Huh? What did you remove and what came back? I think I had a similar issue and here is what I did...
After the OTA for sprint radio and one other sprint bloat app I couldnt remove them like everyone else was doing. It would only give me the option to uninstall the update. So... I hard reset the phone, then during the set up process you have to uncheck "restore my settings." This will stop the app OTA's from downloading automatically. Next go in and remove the apps you dont want.

I don tknow if that helps (or even makes sense) its what I had to get rid of the bloat.
