Don't want all pictures showing in my gallery

I don't mind FB,DB, etc syncing with my gallery but is their a way when you select "View by" in the gallery menu such as "Content in device" be permanent instead of reverting back to "All content"?

That's easy. Download quickpic from the Market. Lets you select what you want to show up in your gallery and what you want to hide. The stock one is to messy for my taste anyways and never use it.

I'd say the same thing. The stock app is simple, which can be an advantage as well as a disadvantage. In this case, its lack of fine-tuned settings is a disadvantage compared to third-party galleries like QuickPic.
