Double tap wake up stopped working

I received my phone back from repair today (lcd replace) and the double tap wake up is not working anymore. Yes, I have checked the settings, calibrated G-sensor, and did a factory reset as well. I've tried in multiple positions and it never wakes up. The weirdest thing is that double tap works when putting him to sleep on lock screen, but can't get it to wake up never.

Anyone know what this? Do I need to send it back to warranty?

If double tap works to put it to sleep sounds to me like its a software issue and not hard ware.
Im guessing you have it rooted and have an app that puts it to sleep with double tap? Mine is stock and i can wake but not put it to sleep.

It is not rooted, everything is original, it also was just reseted to factory defaults. And double tap to put it to sleep works only on lock screen on M9s.

OH ok so its not unlocked. Then yes thats normal.
