Download from "Unknown Sources"--Where did it go?

I downloaded an app from amazon. Prior to the download, I checked the "Unknown sources" box to allow installation of non-market applications. The download completed, but the app did not install.

I searched for the app using Astro; it was not found.

Any ideas on where the file was put, and how to trigger the install?

probably on your SDcard under "downloads"

Yup. Astro didn't find it because the app name is not in the file name.

And that was because the app was the amazon installer. The app itself is downloading now.
