Download instead of play?

Last week, I was downloading stuff on a wifi connection to play later...suddenly, instead of downloading, everything wants to play immediately. WTF? I'm not finding a setting anywhere to fix it.

What sort of "stuff"? You mean music? Which app? The Google Play Music app has a slider in the sidebar for "downloaded only" that I would guess prevents streaming.

But, again, it depends on what you mean by "stuff".

Radio programs, actually. I keep my music on my ipod! I'll check that out.

Nope, that didn't do it. When I hit the Download box, it just starts playing...no other options. Obviously I could download on pc and transfer, but that's a pita...and besides, last week (before I activated Google Play), it worked fine! I wonder if I deactivate Google Play...

Website. Trying to do the download while on wifi, then I can listen without burning data. Using Chrome on the phone...maybe I should check another website, I suppose it could be them.

I bet it's the website. Can you click and hold to choose "save link as"? There's a site I sometimes download mp3s from that if you just click the link, it will play the audio instead of downloading, and I have to right click (on my pc) and choose "save link as" to save the file for playback later.

Yep, went to another webpage and it works fine. So it's their page. Thanks for insights.
