download pic's ( evo shift )

I have an HTC evo from sprint. I am trying to download pic's from my phone from to my computer. Does anyone know how to do it? I connected the usb cable, but it is not working?

there should be a pull down in ur notification bar when u connected your phone pull it down and put in in disk drive

Go to Settings>Connect To PC

There are now two options. If every time you plug it in to your PC you want it to be used as a disk drive click default connection type and select disk drive (or another option)

If you want it to ask you every time you plug it in make sure Ask Me is checked.

When I first got my Shift I had a hard time finding where my pictures were located on my SD card. It literally took me looking through every folder until I realized that my camera shots were in the DCIM folder by default.:-[... Just a heads up.. but yeah just put your phone in mass storage mode

how do you put your phone in mas storage mode?

im still having a hard time....when i connect my phone to my pc...it does give me any options to transfer any informationto my pc.

When you plug your phone into the computer, pull down your notification tray at the top. You will see a clickable menu. Once it opens just click on disk drive. That will put your phone into mass storage.

You don't even have to put the phone is usb mass storage or media mode. Just choose "just charge" and then use whatever explorer to see files and drives on your computer. Then just goto the drive where you phone is plugged in and you should be able to access the DCIM (default) folder for pictures off your phone. Works everytime for me.
